Moscow continues its attack on Ukraine relentlessly. After another night of bombing, which also hit the gas pipelines, the Russians were said to have moved to Kharkiv, the country’s second city. The situation was calmer in Kiev. In the north of the country, a Ukrainian man tried to stop a Russian tank by boarding it.
Bombing multiple oil stations
Southwest of Kiev, in the city of Vasylkiv, Russian forces bombed a gas and oil station near a military airport. Gas pipelines have also been targeted elsewhere in the country. The Russians blew up a pipeline in Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine. Pro-Russian separatists in Luhansk say the Ukrainian army has bombed an oil terminal in the area.
‘Poles are coming in droves to help’
Trains from Ukraine arrive in the small border town of Przemysl. Poles came from everywhere to house the refugees. On the Ukrainian side of the border crossing at Medica is a long line of cars with refugees. Cory Hanke, our correspondent on the site, describes the situation at the Polish border.
‘Last night was rough’
In a televised address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke, among other things, about the bombings that occurred on Saturday night. ‘The Russians are targeting even nurseries’
