Natio Horror USA again Women’s U20 Conclave Champion

In line with expectations, the United States has once again become the U20-Concacaf women’s soccer champion. The United States extended its title by beating Mexico 2-0 in the final in Santo Domingo on Saturday evening. The U.S. team is not unknown to Suriname.

Our U20 National Women’s team lost 14-0 to the defending champions in the eighth final on March 4. Suriname, who entered the Concacaf Championship for the third time and reached the knockout stage for the first time, competed with the six-time Concacaf Champion and the three-time World Champion, but the result was not entirely surprising.

On its way to its seventh title, American Women’s Choice did not give a damn about its other rivals. In the quarterfinals and semifinals, they beat Haiti and Puerto Rico 6-0, 7-0, and in the final, Mexico 2-0. On Saturday, Michelle Cooper and Talia della Peruda scored at the Estadio Olympico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo. Cooper scored 7 goals and became the highest scorer in the tournament.

Like the United States, semi-champions Mexico and semifinal losers Canada have qualified for the U20 Women’s World Cup. Costa Rica is the fourth Congolese country to take part in the World Cup, which runs from August 10 to 28.
