Eight-year-olds Nijhof, Willem Greve, JW Stables, Stal de Moerhoeve and Stal Den Bisschop Opium JW van de Morhov TN (Ischgl de Muze v. Nabab de Reve’s Kannan Out) Sold to the United States.
Opium JW van de Morohov TN was developed by JW Staples (Jan Wuytak) and Stal De Moerhoeve and was partially purchased by Stal den Bisschop at an early age. Stallion began his career under Ben de Grane’s saddle, and in 2019 acquired Nijoff and Willem Grave. With these five owners and Willem Greve in the saddle, Opium continued his sporting career, finishing fourth at the World Championships for Young Horses in Lancashire.
Great demand
In good advice, after opium recently attracted attention in international competitions, five are now sold out. “He absolutely had no choice but to leave because he excelled in both sport and breeding.
The rest of the frozen sperm
An important role in deciding whether to proceed with the sale may be with the old owners of Stallion’s frozen semen. “It made the decision a little easier. He works better at breeding and is needed by breeders. We still have less frozen sperm that we can continue to provide.
