For the third year in a row: Queen hit ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ wins first place in JOE Top 2000 | music

musicJOE listeners have decided: This year Queen’s song “Bohemian Rhapsody” will top the JOE Top 2000 chart again. This song ranked first for the third year in a row and thus remains successful. All time favorite Among JOE listeners. The song is closely followed by Barry White’s “You’re the First, the Last and My Everything”, and George Michael’s “Careless Whisper” also enters the top three for the first time.

Several new musical talents also made their mark on the Top 2000 for the first time this year, with Aaron Blumert making an impressive entry at No. 1660 with his single “Zonde.” Other notable newcomers include Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” (No. 247), Goldband’s “Emergency” (No. 452), and Gustav’s “Because of You” (No. 528). The latter is also the highest-rated Belgian newcomer.

Disturbed surprised everyone by jumping to sixth place with their powerful performance of “The Sound Of Silence.” The rise of Journey’s song “Don’t Stop Believin'” from No. 74 to No. 15 compared to last year also raises many eyebrows.

The Top 2000 also featured the highest ranked artists of all time, with ABBA being the absolute champion with no less than 27 rankings. In the solo artist category, Michael Jackson appears to be the most rated man with 26 ratings, while Tina Turner trails her counterpart Madonna with 17 ratings.
