We already knew that Marvel Studios’ latest film The Marvels would be significantly less good than its predecessor, but the question now is just how much less good the film will be…
Just last month, projections were that the new superhero film would have a $75-80 million weekend next week, which would be about 50% less than 2019’s Captain Marvel.
Marvel Studios in trouble?
However, it is now suggested that this may fall short of the disappointing $71.2 million opening for Eternals in 2021.
According to Deadline, the pre-sale will be for Wonders Lagging behind DC addresses Black Adam And the lightwhich had openings of $67 million and $55 million respectively.
Marvel fatigue?
Analysts say part of the problem may be that the film’s actors are unable to promote it due to the ongoing actors’ strike.

However, this may also have something to do with a decline in interest in Marvel characters and disappointing marketing materials.

So far, no reviews have been released for the film due to the ban. Of course, this does not mean anything good at all.
