Is the E-Class All Terrain only available as a hybrid with self-ignition? No, although the engine range is still very limited. Mercedes-Benz currently offers the All Terrain in the Netherlands in only one petrol version. It’s called the 450 4Matic and doesn’t have a four-cylinder engine, but rather a 3.0 six-cylinder. The mild hybrid power plant delivers 381 PS and 500 Nm, and is the mild hybrid part of it hardware Able to add 23 hp and 205 Nm to the total. With a 0-100 time of just 4.7 seconds, the E450 4Matic is very quick, to say the least. Its maximum speed is not less than 250 km/h. Despite the power, the average consumption according to Mercedes-Benz is 8.0-8.7 l/100 km. Of course it’s not a deal breaker. Rougher

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All Terrain has standard air suspension and, depending on the driving mode selected, stands up to 4.6cm lower on its feet than the less adventurous E-Class. From 120 km/h, the E-Class All Terrain drops again by 1.5 cm. Luggage space is generous, just like that of the regular E Estate, although the station version of the current E-Class without the rear seat folded down is slightly less spacious than the outgoing model. The E-Class Estate 615 swallows – with the rear seats flat – 1,830 litres. The previous E-Class had a capacity of 640 liters and was 1,820 liters with the rear seat flat. In the plug-in hybrid E-class Estate and therefore also in the E-class All Terrain 300de 4Matic, you can store less due to the position of the battery pack: from 460 to 1675 litres).

On the outside, the E-Class All Terrain is distinguished by its grille, which has two horizontal slats instead of one or three horizontal slats. The dark gray bumper work, skid plates and wheel arch edges also serve as points of visual recognition. A mild hybrid diesel version of the 220d may follow later.
