Apple Music is slightly older than Spotify with a yearly overview

While Spotify users are looking forward to Spotify Wrapped 2023, Apple is already launching Apple Music Replay 2023. This way you can see which artists you are listening to the most.

Who is the artist you listened to the most in the past year? Apple Music users can now find out, as an overview of Apple Music Replay 2023 has been made available.

You will not find your personal point of view in the application, but rather through Apple Music website. After signing in with your Apple account, you can see, among other things, how many minutes you have listened to music, and which artists, albums and genres you like.

Spotify wrapped 2023

Apple Music Replay was created in response to the popularity of Spotify Wrapped. Since 2016, Spotify has been offering its users an overview at the end of the year, including the most streamed artists and songs. These overviews are shared collectively across social media.

It’s not known when Spotify Wrapped 2023 will be released, but looking at previous years, Wednesday, November 29 or Wednesday, December 6 seems most likely. Apple is ahead of Spotify this year.

Most listened to in the Netherlands

Given Apple’s preoccupation with statistics, the company also provides a list of the most streamed songs in the Netherlands. The top 10 is led by Miley Cyrus with Flowers, followed by Goldband and Maan with Secretly. The winning song from the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 also reached the top ten.
