RSC Anderlecht is in contention for the awards for the first time in years. This is also evident when it comes to ticket sales. Again, it’s a stampede.
They are scheduled to face Standard in the Belgian Cup on Thursday evening, followed by a competition match against Roche three days later. Both games were sold out for longer than the day. But it doesn’t stop there.
On the contrary: all tickets have already been completely sold out for the matches against Genk and Cercle Brugge. In between, the Purple & White will play another big game when they visit Royal Antwerp FC in Den Bosuil.
More than 21,000 fans at Lotto Park in Anderlecht
But the matches of December 23 (Genk) and December 27 (Cercle Brugge) were also sold out. In this way, the purple and white team shows once again that they have the wind in their sails, also in terms of supporters.
Lotto Park can accommodate just over 21,000 fans. If they always sell out, they will immediately enter the top two in Belgium after Standard. At Club Brugge, the stadium is rarely more than 80% full this season.
