Diablo II: Resurrected Preview – nothing more than alpha

These are good times for an older player. A refined version of the classic appears one after the other. Blizzard also in that area. It has received a great deal of criticism regarding Warcraft III: Reforged, but nonetheless is working hard to revamp one of the other classics, which will be released as Diablo II: Resurrected.

Upon finding out about Blizzard, this only happens “upon completion,” but it is already time for a public test of the game. A limited number of people had the opportunity to try the alpha version of the game. The game was playable for a short time, mainly to give Blizzard a chance to test stability. Plus, it has naturally given the press, YouTubers, and influencers the opportunity to savor the game. We also managed to spend a few hours in the game and not only looked at what Blizzard had made of Diablo II: Resurrected. We also included the original version from 2000, which is still playable under Windows 10.

Of course the graphic differences are evident. Not much between the original and Diablo II: Resurrected, but especially between Legacy and Resurrected mode in the remake of the game. Blizzard ensures that – even while gaming – you can switch between classic and new looks with the touch of a button. In Legacy mode, the classic look, the game looks like two drops of water for a game from 2000. Or actually 2001, because Resurrected, Blizzard returns to the game as it was after the Lord of Destruction expansion.
