According to the Danish court, the king shares his “ideas and considerations about the monarchy” in Denmark. When the book was announced, several quotes from the Danish king were revealed:

“The power of faith lies not in the question of whether God is mentioned in the King’s Word, but in the fact that we as a people feel connected to each other through our Christian faith,” the book states, among other things. But in addition to issues like faith, he also speaks openly about his family and the rest of the royal family. A little side note: the book was not written by the king himself, but by author Jens Andersen.

Queen Margrethe has sat on the Danish throne for nearly 52 years, but officially stepped down as monarch last Sunday. However, the Queen of the title will continue to address and refer to Margaret.
