The Ascender robot vacuum cleaner from Migo Robotics can also climb stairs

Robotic vacuum cleaners can now be found in many homes. The main drawback of these devices? You should always take this with you if you also want to vacuum the upstairs. This means that the convenience of the robot vacuum cleaner can be immediately thrown into the trash, because it is difficult to carry the robot vacuum cleaner up the stairs when you are at work. The new Ascender robot vacuum cleaner from Migo Robotics should change that.

However, the goal has already been largely achieved, which means that the bull is already coming. You can still participate in Super Early Bird packages. For $849, or €786, you'll get the robot vacuum cleaner in July of this year, including the base station and accessory set.

Unique to Ascender are the robot arms on the side. By rotating the robot's arms, this model can drive stairs and clean them as well. The video above shows exactly how this works. It doesn't go very quickly, but the robot vacuum will be up the stairs in no time. What's also unique is that the robot vacuum can move sideways, so it can also move the entire flight of stairs from left to right.

Migo Robotics also promises a robot vacuum cleaner with a suction power of 9,700 Pa, intelligent navigation using LiDAR and ToF sensors, obstacle detection thanks to artificial intelligence and a complete base station that can vacuum itself.
