Fusion is coming to Pokémon GO

There's a good chance that it will Pokemon Go You will soon get a Fusion Mechanic. Some clues were found in the code for this and they fit perfectly with the Pokémon GO Fest 2024 picture.

Pokémon Fusion is a mechanic that allows certain Pokémon to temporarily fuse with other Pokémon to become stronger. Necrozma, for example, is a Pokémon that can fuse, specifically with Solgaleo and Lunala from Pokémon Sun & Moon to become Duskmane Necrozma or Dawnwing Necrozma.

Coincidentally or not, it was announced this week that Necrozma will be introduced to Pokémon GO during Pokémon GO Fest 2024, which kicks off in Japan at the end of May and then travels around the world, culminating in an in-game global finale in July. 13 and 14.

Furthermore, indications of the Fusion mechanic have also been found in the Pokémon GO code. For example, there is talk of lunar and solar fusion energy, which would likely be needed to power the fusion process. It is not yet clear how players can obtain this energy.

The code also mentions other Pokémon that will support Fusion. For example, there is Kyurem, which is already in the game, and can merge with Zekrom or Reshiram. Calyrex, which is not yet included in Pokémon GO, has also been mentioned and can be combined with Glastrier or Spectrier.

By the way, at the end of last year, merged versions of Kyurem were mistakenly added to Pokémon GO, only to be quickly removed again.
