Developer: BioWare | Publisher: Electronic Arts | May 14, 2021 | Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Fans have been craving new Mass Effect content for years, especially after the “flop” of Mass Effect: Andromeda as she felt to many and her own DLC lack. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition isn’t entirely new, unfortunately, but it does offer another great moment for players to dive into the original trilogy and relive the adventures of Commander Shepard.
With its mod tool, BioWare saw an opportunity to do a lot of things. For example, the three games’ graphics have been pulled closer together, with things like improved textures, shading, and effects. Also, the female Shepard as we saw her in Mass Effect 3 is available in all 3 games and the terrible Mako has been improved from the original with a new OS. However, a fan of the multiplayer game can skip this remaster, because this mode has been completely removed by BioWare.
The Legend Edition will be available for purchase on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beginning May 14. The game can of course also be played on the new generation of consoles, but it does not have much improvement.
