The German manufacturer Hägele has developed an application with which you can operate the Cleanfix reversing fan. Using the app, you can set or pause reflection periods.

Techno Air Benelux from Maurik (Gld.), an importer of Cleanfix reversible fans from German Hägele, announces that it is now possible to operate the fan using your smartphone. In fact, you can then choose on your smartphone whether the reverse fan operates in manual or automatic mode. The latter means that the fan always cleans the radiator at set intervals.

You mainly use the application to set a time interval for the reverse function, or to pause the reverse function.

Interval order

The Cleanfix cooling fan can reverse the blades, so that it does not briefly draw cooling air through the radiator, but on the contrary cleans the radiator. Using the app on your smartphone, you can increase the interval in the app in dusty conditions, such as when chopping onions or mowing hay. Or vice versa: reduce the time interval during the winter.
You can also pause the rewind function, for example, if you are emptying grass in the stable or if you are working in the center of the village. This way you can prevent a knee-jerk reaction among bystanders; When the fan blades are turned, dust is blown away and a short blowing sound is heard. Finally, you can use the app for unmanned vehicles operating nearby, such as a rubble crusher, says the importer.

Conversion is possible

To convert an existing Cleanfix fan to an application control, a new control box is required. This box with Bluetooth connectivity can be purchased for €525 and, according to the importer, you can build it yourself. Anyone purchasing a new inverter fan from Cleanfix can expect an additional cost of €400 for app control, compared to the familiar button control in the cabin.
