Charles De Kittilari has had a strong season at Atalanta Bergamo. The Red Devils are still under contract with Milan, but Atalanta want to acquire CDK. However, this does not happen without obstacles.
Atalanta has negotiated a €22 million purchase option on De Ketelaer’s lease and also wants to exercise that option. However, there are problems, says transfer expert Nicolo Schira. Atalanta and Milan are still negotiating.
Bonuses are the problem
Atalanta still wants to try to reduce bonuses. There is a bonus of four million euros and a future resale percentage of ten percent. Milan, in turn, absolutely does not want to lose bonuses.
This could pose a big problem because Atalanta have until June 14 to exercise their call option. Since then, other clubs can also benefit from this situation. De Ketelaere himself seems to want to stay with Atalanta.
Red Devils
De Kittilairi was also selected by national coach Domenico Tedesco to participate in the European Championships in Germany. Due to Atalanta’s busy schedule, the striker later joined the group. Against Luxembourg, the former Club Brugge player was allowed in 15 minutes from time.
So it looks like De Ketelaere will essentially play second fiddle to the European Championship. However, the CDK’s versatility makes it a worthwhile option for Tedesco.
#AtalantaCharles plans #DeKetelaere Unchanged: They want to keep it and be prepared to activate the call option (22 million), but they want to reduce the bonus (4 million) and remove 10% from the future sale. #Italian Club Milan They are not willing to make concessions to Perkasie.
