Julie van den Steen has been criticized on social media for a while now. It all started with an excerpt on VTM’s “Later Als Ik Groot Ben”. In it, the presenter described her grandfather as a “very nice and protective man”. There were strong reactions to this statement that VTM has decided to remove the portion from the program. Van den Steen himself She has apologized widely on her Instagram account She said she was not aware of her grandfather’s history at the time of the shooting.
