Software Update: UniGetUI 3.1.1 – Computer – Downloads

WingetUI logo (79px)UniGetUI version 3.1.1 has been released. Previously called WingetUI, this program is a graphical user interface for the best-known software managers for Windows: Winget, Chocolatey, and Scoop. Package managers allow you to install, update, and uninstall programs from the command line, so UniGetUI tries to make this easier. The program is open source, can be used in many languages including Dutch, has a dark theme, and provides notifications when new versions of installed programs are available. The changelog for this version looks like this:

Change log

  • PowerShell 7 PSGet is available as a package manager.
  • WinGet now uses the COM API to fetch installed packages. The bundled WinGet can be used instead of the PowerShell module.
  • Improved compatibility with non-ascii characters on WinGet.
  • The Packages page has been rebuilt in the same way as the other software pages in version 3.1.0.
  • Improvements to UI icons. They are no longer loaded from disk, making the UI smoother and more responsive.
  • WinGet and Scoop icons have been changed to be consistent with their official icons.
  • Other changes and bug fixes
