The exhibition is dedicated to projects and performances by artists and scientists that connect science and the performing arts with a socially relevant topic.

On the last day of TAZ, a new exhibition will be launched: Caroline Bowles’ Wonders Exhibition. Caroline Bowles was the curator of TAZ in 2021 and wrote the booklet “The Poem of Wonder.” Bowles passed away a year later. That’s why TAZ wants to keep her memory alive in the form of an annual process.

Concretely, it is a development grant for projects or performances that combine science, performing arts and a socially relevant topic. The grant will be first presented on the closing day of TAZ 2025 on August 9.

Successful edition

TAZ is now celebrating its 27th successful edition. “More than 1,000 artists took to the stage and welcomed a large audience,” the organization said. Theme “Take me with you” The theme “Waves and generations” was the common thread throughout the program, which was prepared by leader Cindy Godefroy, programmer Dominique Collet and the TAZ team, and supported by breakwaters Zindzi Tilot Owusu and Dani Ronaldo.

From the opening performance “Ne Mobliez Mie” to the final poem “Ensor est un fou / Ensor is Crazy”, the theme was built around it. Eight performances were premiered during TAZ, including “Het Ego” by Anemone Falke and Verona Verbäckel and “For Rosa” by Nick Balthasar, Felix Maischalke and Benjamin van Benderen Robersches.

Next year, the Anne Zee Theatre will be held from July 30 to August 9, 2025.
