Thibau Nys had a great season on the road, but is now fully focused on cyclo-cross. Everything is also going smoothly in the private life of Nys and his girlfriend Anna Eikendal.
Thibaut Ness had been with his Dutch girlfriend Anna Ekendaal for almost four years. She quickly moved to Belgium so she could be with Thibaut more. They usually slept with his father Sven and had dinner with his mother Isabelle.
“His parents and their partners immediately welcomed me with open arms,” Ekendal said at the end of 2023. HLN. Due to the many training sessions and competitions, Nice is not at home much anyway, but it is time for her to take a place of her own.

“At home, I had everything I could dream of and needed, but I’ve reached an age and stage in my career where living apart would provide a lot of structure as well as peace,” Ness continued.
It is not clear when the move will be planned, but Nys will be in Belgium in the coming weeks to prepare for the new cyclo-cross season. His first cross will be in Beringen on October 12.
