Twitter launched a paid subscription for the first time on Thursday. The scoop goes to Canada and Australia. With “Twitter Blue”, the user gets additional services, for example, “undo” a tweet.
After a Tweet, a paying user has up to 30 seconds to edit the Tweet. Only then does the tweet appear on the user’s timeline. With a preview, a tweeter can easily catch bugs before the tweets go viral. There is also a Reader Mode that makes it easy to read long Twitter conversations. There will be folders with favorites to save Twitter messages.
The cost of the new service is about 2.5 euros per month.
