Mobile collectors wanted to participate in MS Collection Week

REGION – The National Multiple Sclerosis Trust is looking for mobile collectors for the week of June 28 through July 3. According to the MS Trust, “You can pick up the mobile from the couch, lawn chair, or chairs.”

That MS has a huge impact on (young people’s) lives and has many different faces, the MS Fund is currently making clear in the new “Face It Up” campaign. MS breaks nerves.”

The campaign includes five people with MS: Carla, Winston, Carlene, Kevin, and Vera. They vary in age and all are at a different stage in life, but they have one thing in common: All five have MS.

“On www.nationaalmsfonds.nl/faceit They show in a miraculous way the impact of the disease on their lives and what different complaints and cycles there are.”

In the Netherlands, 25,000 people suffer the consequences of chronic and exacerbated MS every day. Through this campaign, multiple sclerosis is not only given a literal face, but also a call to confront the seriousness of the disease.

A literal connection is made with the nervous system, but also a connection to the emotional side of the disease and what this does to patients.

There is an urgent need for research
There is no solution for MS yet. Researchers do not know how MS develops or how the disease can be treated. So more research is urgently needed.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Trust spends the proceeds of MS Week on scientific research into better treatments and a better quality of life for people with MS.

“We are looking for mobile collectors. They collect with their mobile phone, and this can be done very easily from work or from home. The proceeds from the National Collection Week are making a difference for 25,000 people in the Netherlands.”

They have to live every day with a disease that literally destroys their nerves. So research into MS and our fight against MS must continue. More information or registration: www.nationaalmsfonds.nl/collecteren.
