What do we already know about the upcoming European Championship match(s) for the Red Devils? | European Football Championship 2020

As the winner of Group B, the Red Devils will play the 1/8 Final on Sunday 27 June at 9pm in Seville. Certainly.

The opponent – the third best according to the infamous table – is not yet known. Belgium might hit a group E or F country, although there is a (small) chance that it could be Switzerland.

These countries are still eligible from Groups E and F: Sweden, Slovakia, Spain, France, Germany, Portugal and Hungary. Poland can still advance in Group E, but not in third place.

Two 1/8 finals have already been announced: Wales-Denmark in Amsterdam, between No. 2 of Group A and B, and Italy-Austria in London, winner of Group A versus second of Group C.

If the Belgians survive the 1/8 finals, they will meet the winner of that last match in Munich. Italy or Austria will then be the contenders on Friday 2 July at 9pm.

If the Red Devils, which we all hope, reach the round of four, they will play the semi-finals in London on Tuesday 6 July at 9pm.

Then the opponent is either the winner of group F or the best third or second of group D or second best of group E.

The semi-finals and finals will be held in London. If you want to know when the Red Devils can face the Netherlands: you can do it as soon as possible in the final. We can only face Wales and Denmark (again) in the final.

You’ll notice that there are still plenty of “if” and “then” hanging above the game table. Fortunately, we got wiser with each completed set.
