Work begins with a webstore in the Netherlands: no plans to roll out in Belgium | abroad

Business has always been stopping the boat for an online store. He cited the low margins represented by the series as the reason. But now the opponent is still dealing. On Dutch site A selection of five to seven items are now offered every Tuesday at 12 noon, which are only on sale for one week and while supplies last. Five to seven more trades will appear the following Tuesday. You cannot find it in the physical branches of the chain. It comes to larger, more luxurious items, such as the electric scooter.

Action insists that the full scope of the procedure is not intended to be ordered and delivered at home. “There is really very little margin in our articles for that,” it appears again in the Dutch newspaper AD. “Normally each of them costs no more than 2 euros. So, it is not profitable for us to deliver these products at home”, says spokesperson Frank Van Ruten.

He stresses that physical stores remain the spearhead of the chain, which has become large due to the rapidly changing variety, which means that customers are making many impulsive purchases. Online activities are complementary to this. The online store will be in beta operation until the end of this year. Then the balance is drawn.

You cannot order in the web store from Belgium. According to Frank van Rotten of Action, there are no plans for such an online store in our country.
