Club Brugge is the first club in Belgium to open a waiting list: Jan Breidel’s stadium has run out for the fourth time in a row | football

Club Brugge is proud to announce that Jan Breydel Stadium has been sold for the fourth consecutive time this season. All 24,000 season tickets are out again… and so Blauw-Zwart is the first club in Belgium to open a waiting list. Like many of Europe’s top clubs, fans who didn’t get a subscription can sign up in hopes of getting a subscription next season. In addition, waiting-listed fans are also the first to receive free-sale tickets for the remaining thousands of tickets for individual matches. In Europe, the queues at the big clubs are often very long. For example, in 2019, Ajax reported 35,000 fans standing in line. In 2018, the number of Borussia Dortmund supporters reached 50 thousand.

At 6pm the Club Brugge training campaign will kick off at Belfius Basecamp against Beerschot. Blauw-Zwart is expected to give all fitness players minutes to play – including the eight Club NXT Promises who are allowed to train with the first team in the making. At the moment, Ballanta is missing, who is still training individually. So do De Ketelaere, Mechele, Pérez and Van Der Brempt, who took an extra week of vacation after international commitments and joined only on Mondays. Kusono will join later next week.
