MusicRadio 2 has just announced ten artists with a chance to win Radio 2 Summer Hit 2021. Caroline Debecker called all the nominees for “Crazy Summer” to surprise them with their nomination. Can Nils Destadsbadr and Reggie, after their separate victories in previous years, win a new trophy together? Or will young talents like The Starlings, Metejoor or Camille be able to make money off the figurine?
Bart Peters and CSKA Shooters present Radio 2 Zomerhit 2021 on Sunday, August 15th from Blankenberge, with the nominees making it a musical feast that will be streamed live on One. Also this year, it is not possible to welcome thousands of people in Blankenberge, but Radio 2 and One still provide plenty of interaction with the audience and many initiatives in the lead up to broadcasting.
These are the ten candidates:

“A Date” – Metejoor & Emma Heesters
“The world turns for you” – Niels Destadsbadr and Reggie
“Magic” – starlings
“No Man’s Land” – LeMC Tourist Achievement. Meskerem miss
“Stronger than ever” – Willie Somers
Voting for Radio 2 Zomerhit 2021 begins on Saturday 24 July, Siska Schoeters give their first shot at ‘Ciska Pond’. You can vote on radio2.be and the Radio 2 app until Sunday 15 August at 6pm. Radio 2 Zomerhit can be seen live on Een and the Radio 2 app on Sunday 15 August, and can be heard on Radio 2. During this live broadcast, it is still possible to vote on TV.
