The green Marble Arch Mound in London had to close its doors again two days after opening. The hill was destined to become a green spot in the city centre, but Londoners were disappointed with the end result.
All visitors who purchase a ticket to visit this new attraction in London will get their money back. The £2m Marble Arch Hill was rated ‘disappointing’ by visitors after it opened.
The drawings of the original plan of the outdoor attraction do not quite correspond to reality. In plans it looked as if visitors could stroll among the trees with a panoramic view of the city at the peak, but in reality Londoners were given a semi-naked hill with a view of the surrounding buildings.
Westminster City Council says the man-made mountain in central London is “not ready yet”. This is why visitors who hold a ticket will receive a second entry ticket when the project is completed.
