Dutch actor Hero Muller has died at the age of 83. His family confirmed this to RTV Nord in Groningen on Thursday. Muller has played in many films and TV shows, but has also lent his voice to Cake Monster from “Sesame Street” and the Fairytale Tree of the Efteling.
Muller studied at the Conservatory in The Hague. He began his acting career with the musical “My Fair Lady” in 1961. In the 1960s he focused on radio plays, especially for former Dutch public broadcaster AVRO.
Then he made his television debut in the series “Floris” directed by Paul Verhoeven. Muller also directed the latter in films such as “Keetje Tippel”, “Soldaat van Oranje” and “The 4th Man”.
In addition to films, Muller has also given television productions in Dutch films, such as “The Sun at Home”, “On the Road to Tomorrow”, “Zeop” and “Heat Whois Anubis”. Additionally, he lent his voice to, among others, Koekiemonster on Sesame Street and Fairytale Tree of the Efteling.
Continue working into old age. In recent years it can still be seen in “Flikken Maastricht” and “Dokter Deen”. His son, Peter Paul Muller, also works.
