Aide Britney Spears attacked Father Jimmy: ‘All he wants is to clear his name’ | showbiz

FamousBritney Spears’ 53-year-old curator, Judy Montgomery, criticized the singer’s father. According to Montgomery, 69-year-old Jamie Spears only asked to investigate the department because he wanted his name cleared after his daughter threw a series of accusations at him during her emotional court testimony.

Britney Spears said in her emotional testimony, among other things, that her father forced her to keep working. “If I don’t go to meetings or work from eight in the morning until six in the evening — ten hours a day, seven days a week, no days off — I won’t be allowed to see my children or my friend,” the singer said.

Meanwhile, Jamie Spears is busy defending himself against his daughter’s statements, but according to Judy Montgomery, the singer’s co-coordinator, Spears’ dad is only doing it out of self-interest. It seems clear that “all he wants is to clear his name.” She also asked the court not to give any importance to his statements and not to believe him.

Montgomery also wants Britney Spears to regain her freedom. According to rumors, she is currently working on a plan with the singer’s doctors. This so-called “care plan” should ensure that the reign of Britney’s father finally ends after all these years.

Plus, there’s more good news for Britney. The singer can now choose her lawyer. Earlier, news broke that she had sought help from attorney Matthew Rosengart. The latter has now also agreed to help her. A new hearing in the Britney case will take place today at 1:30 p.m. local time in Los Angeles (10:30 p.m. Belgian time). Rosengart himself will also appear and will ask a judge for permission to formally appoint him as the singer’s new attorney.
