Android 14 is available for Samsung Galaxy S22
Android 14 was already rolled out for Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones at the end of October, and now it’s the turn of their predecessors. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra will also receive an update to the latest version of the operating system. Many thanks to readers Rinus and Jürgen, who reported this to us!
The size of the software package is about 3 GB. If the update is available to you, you’ll automatically receive a message. Are you impatient? Then you can also manually check if Android 14 has already been released for your Samsung Galaxy S22. You can do this by opening Settings and going to Software Update. Once you click “Download and Install”, the rest will take care of itself.
Since, as mentioned earlier, it is a large package, we recommend downloading the software over WiFi. This prevents you from using your data package immediately. Also make a backup of your smartphone.
