A small number of iPhone 12 and 12 Pro smartphones are experiencing audio issues during calls. Apple acknowledges the problem and offers a free repair program to affected users.

Free Repair for iPhone with Audio Problems
According to Apple, a “very small percentage” of iPhone 12employment 12 ProCommon models with noise problems during calls. A component in the receiver unit is more likely to fail than usual. The iPhones most at risk of defect were produced between October 2020 and April 2021.
The problem is that there is no sound from the receiver when making a call. Owners of a defective iPhone 12 (Pro) device may be eligible for a free repair. iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max are not affected by the issue. Thus these two models are not part of the service program.

Do you have an iPhone 12 (Pro) with sound problems? You can now make an appointment at an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support. Here you can arrange repair by mail, or ask all your urgent questions.
iPhone 12 or 12 Pro models that have damage that prevents the repair from being completed, such as a cracked screen, must first be repaired. The repair program covers affected iPhones for two years after sales.
