RSC Anderlecht have been looking for a new coach for the RSCA Futures for some time. The bullet had now passed through the church as expected. Jelle Coen was introduced by the Purple & White team via official channels.
Dutchman Maren Riddijk left the RSCA Futures team after last season. Several names were then discussed as possible successors to Redijk. The voice of Edward Steele in particular is often heard.
However, he chose to become his brother Will’s assistant at RC Lens. Thus Anderlecht changed their weapons and started attacking the Jelly Queen. His contract with Jung Genk was not extended.

Thomas Pavel became the new coach of Genk and so they wanted to bring Gilly Quinn to RSC Anderlecht. At KRC Genk, Quinn has managed to allow a lot of talent to grow in the first team. He will now do the same job at Anderlecht.
Dynamic and engaging football under Jilly Quinn?
“It is a real honor to become coach of a great club like Anderlecht. I am really looking forward to working with the talent of this club,” Jilly Quinn said in the initial response to the Purple & White website.
He added: “I support dynamic and attractive football with a strong defensive organization and I want to pay attention to the individual and collective development of the team.” We would like to wish Jelly Queen every success in his new assignment.
