At least four killed in helicopter crash on US military base abroad

US media reported that at least four people were killed in a helicopter crash targeting a military base in the US state of Hawaii.

The Sikorsky C-61N helicopter took part in an exercise at the launch and test base near Kekaha on the island of Kauai. The plane had just recovered something from the water and was trying to land it when something went wrong for an unknown reason.

The helicopter was owned by the Croman Civilian Company, which carries out missions for the United States Navy. So the occupiers were civilians.

According to the US Army, the base located in the desert west of Kauai is the world’s largest equipped facility for simultaneous operations on land, in the air and on water.
