Mr. K.Tallulah H. Schwab’s second feature film has been selected for the 49th edition.H A copy of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The film will have its world premiere at the prestigious Platform competition.
The film stars Barbara Sarafyan and Sam Loeke alongside an international cast, including Crispin Glover (Back to the future, american gods), Sani Mels (triangle of sadness, Baader Meinhof Complex), Barbara Sukowa (Hannah Arendt, Atomic blonde), and my name is Van Campen (Dear Celine, this is us).
Mr. K He is a fictional traveler who gets caught up in a Kafkaesque nightmare when he can’t find the way out after spending the night in a hotel. His frantic attempts to escape only drag him deeper into the hotel’s mysterious world, where he encounters strange residents and inexplicable events.

MR. K is a refreshing and very special project by Tallulah Schwab. Her vision is original and boldly cinematic and she has assembled an exceptionally rich cast and incredible talent to bring it to life including Director of Photography Frank Griebe (LOLA RENNT, CLOUD ATLAS). The recordings were made entirely in Flanders with key Flemish artistic input including mechanic Maarten Janssens (TRADEMAN), production designer Manolito Glass (I Kill Giants), costume designer Charlotte Willems (IRON SKY) and composer Stan Lee Cole (TRADEMAN).
Tallulah H. Schwab previously achieved success with her debut film THRESH FLOOR FULL OF CONFETTI (2015), which screened at numerous international youth film festivals, including the Generation Competition at the Berlinale, the Kristiansand Children’s Film Festival (Norway), the Berlin International Film Festival and the Zlin Children’s and Youth Film Festival (Czech Republic).
Paradiso Filmed Entertainment brings Mr. K In theaters early 2025.
