The BSC consists of several components. This includes a closed network for smartphones and laptops, a communications application and a network of “secret sites” where underground network traffic and video conferencing are processed. It is located in Belgium and all its components are developed in Belgium.
The system is used by politicians. This has been happening since January, when Prime Minister De Croo was on a state visit to China. Civil servants and diplomats will also use the network.
