Bob Peters is leaving Helmond Sport with immediate effect. This decision comes as a result of a joint evaluation in recent weeks. Peters turned 50 in December 2022 and quickly became loved by our fans. The Belgian was eventually in charge of our club in a total of 54 matches.
Head coach Jurgen Strebel: “We have seen development since Bob arrived in the middle of last season. This has helped create a bond between the team and the fans. The coming period is important for us to finish the current season well and take the necessary steps towards the new season.”
Bob Peters on his departure: “I am of course very sorry that I cannot finish the season, but I am doing so for the benefit of the club. In this way I am giving Helmond Sport the opportunity to successfully conclude the current season and prepare for the new one. I would like to thank the fans and the club for the tremendous support I felt during my time In this great club.”
Helmond Sport thanks Bob Peters for his contribution to the club over the past year and a half and wishes him the best of luck in his future career.
