The Washington Mystics, led by Julie Vanloo, recorded their sixth win of the season against the Indiana Fever. Despite a strong comeback, Caitlin Clark’s team was no longer able to win, which caused the frustrations to deepen.
In the second quarter, it got too much for Caitlin Clark. The Indiana basketball talent took out her frustration on Julie Vanloo, who had to take some shots.
In response, the Belgian cat threw her arms in the air. The two then had another altercation, before Clarke’s Katie teammate Lou Samuelson appeared to calm down.
Vanloo’s team led by 10 points at that point, which was equal to 21 points at the start of the fourth quarter. However, it was still exciting.
Indiana started the fourth quarter on a 10-0 run and managed to close the gap to 3 points, but the Mystics couldn’t escape the win: 89-84.
Vanloo, who was again good at making 3-pointers in her WNBA debut, had 13 points. Kaitlyn Clark had 29 points and 13 assists, but it wasn’t enough to seal the win.
