CD Projekt RED has hired four Cyberpunk 2077 mod makers. These four mod makers will run on the Cyberpunk 2077 backend and the game mod support should also improve.
Modmaker Traderain posts the news to the Discord server of Cyberpunk mods. Twitter user also noted Tyler McVicker employment. The news was later confirmed by a CD Projekt RED employee at the official Cyberpunk 2077 server on Discord. Besides Traderain, Blumster, Nightmarea and rfuzzo will also work in CD Projekt RED. The four mod makers join the Polish game studio under Traderain and Nightmarea jussoft.
For this, the four developers worked, among other things wolf kit, a popular mod tool that allows users to modify and add game files to REDengine games, such as The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. Wolvenkit remains open source, the makers of Discord report.
The mod makers at CD Projekt RED will work on “various projects related to Cyberpunk 2077’s backend and game support.” CD Projekt RED has been published since January some toolsWhich should help users create Cyberpunk 2077 mods, including game metadata. However, the studio does not yet offer official editing software, such as Wolfkit. Maybe the mod will work on that.
