Networks start with new frequencies
There seems to be some movement here and there on the FM band in Flanders in recent days. For example, readers tell us that Stadsradio Vlaanderen has put the 107.5 MHz frequency in Bobring to use. This is one of Eight frequencies that Network Radio “inherits” from the defunct Network 2. Nostalgie+ – Network 1 – operated frequency 106.4 in Sint-Niklaas, one of the four frequencies added by Network 1. Since last fall, TOPradio, Stadsradio Vlaanderen and Nostalgie+ have been able to apply for licenses for the additional frequencies allocated to them. In principle, they must jointly put the previous seventeen frequencies of Network 2 into use within one year.
Tienen: Flemish Brabant family radio started
We are also informed that Family Radio Flemish Brabant has been on the air on frequency 105.7 MHz in Tienen since this week. It is one of the recognized local radio stations in 2022. USA: WCMU transmitter site burns down

New Season “The 10 Most Googled Questions About…”
Starting Tuesday 5 March, Maarten & Dorothee will present the new season of the Qmusic podcast titled “The 10 Most Googled Questions About…” where BVs honestly answer questions based on the most frequently asked questions about them on Google. In the first episode, Aster Nzeyimana takes the listener through his transition to VTM, how he and Liz created their own clothing line in Thailand and how he began his career as a sports commentator while playing games. “I find it as much fun as scoring a goal myself,” he says. “The right caption can make a beautiful moment even more beautiful.” After Aster, on Tuesdays, she will be followed by Jennifer Helin, Nora Gharib, Janie Kazaltzis, Gustav, Laura Tesoro, Aaron Blommaert, Toby Alderweireld, Kat Kerkhofs and Averje Robb.
