The Belgian National Disc Golf Tour will arrive at the Heerkenshoeve Park and Amusement Area in Putte on Sunday 12 June. The municipality opened a pop-up disc golf course there last year. “The federation is so impressed, they are organizing an official tournament there,” says Sports Alderman Jன்rn de Kuiper (N-VA). “The site itself will be a keeper.”

Disc golf is a type of golf where you can exchange clubs and balls for Frisbee. You are targeting metal baskets. “It’s one of the most popular natural sports in the United States, Japan and New Zealand. That’s why we jumped on the field.
In the second half of last year, a makeshift eight-hole course was established in the Heerkenshoeve Park and Recreation area in Dinstrod. It will be completed and permanently respected in the coming months. “The round of the Belgian National Discolf Tour should become the culmination of a festive opening weekend of solid rounds,” says de Kuiper.
