Renee Schurmans, 24, from Den Bosch, made a video clip for Ed Sheeran. The British singer asked fans to create video clips for songs from his latest album Autumn variations. From thousands of entries, fourteen people from fourteen different countries were chosen, including Schurman’s clip.
Schurmans has been a fan of Ed Sheeran since his debut album in 2011 + came out. “That’s half my life. He’s a big inspiration to me and the main reason I want to write songs myself,” Schurmans says in Ed Sheeran’s newsletter.
He made the music video for the song Blue. “It feels surreal. It’s definitely a dream come true to work for one of my favorite artists,” Schurmans wrote on Instagram.

In the newsletter, Schurmans also says that the song is very relevant to his own life. Blue It’s about fleeting friendships, something the Schurmans also experienced. “It allowed me to empathize with the text on a deeper level,” she says.
“When friendship feels like a ‘golden’ ray of sunshine, I wanted to illustrate the story with animation, showing how such a breakup can feel ‘blue’.”
Another is selected Film Made up of people from Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, USA, Brazil, Germany, Japan, France, New Zealand, Taiwan, Mexico and India.
