Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, tells investors to “look at Battlefield as a service.” This answers the CEO when asked if EA will release a new game in this franchise every two years after Battlefield 2042 is released.

With that, the CEO suggests that Battlefield has a future like live service she has. The CEO isn’t immediately confirming whether EA will release a new Battlefield game every two years, as the company has previously done.
EA CEO confirms that with the Battlefield Portal part of Battlefield 2042, the company is leaning towards User Generated Content. However, along with All-Out Warfare Mode and Hazard Mode, EA hopes that players will remain involved in Battlefield 2042 long after release. Wilson also confirms that the company will provide more details about the Hazard Zone game mode in the coming months.
“You have to understand that this really paves the way for what we believe is the future of a live service around Battlefield, which over time will include a mobile version, freedom of mooring You’ll get parts and really change the nature of what happens from release to release,” Wilson said. We’re really focused on 365 days of engagement with privilege at the platform level, on any device that consumers want to play on. EA announced Battlefield 2042 in June. It is a multiplayer only game, consisting of All-Out Warfare, Battlefield Portal, and Hazard Mode parts.
