Specifically, the Shadow Realm Blessings expansion system is being addressed, making its effects stronger in the first few levels and then weakening further. However, in the last level the improvements are increased slightly.
Shadow of the Erdtree features a new scaling system for the attack and defense power of both your character and your Soul Summons, through the collection of Scadutree Fragments and Venerable Soul Ashes. Making this system a little stronger at the beginning would give more players the opportunity to advance in the game gradually and easily.
In other words, players will be given a little more breathing room at the start of the DLC, following criticism that the DLC is too difficult.
Moreover, some issues related to graphics settings on PC are also addressed. For example, a bug was discovered that automatically enabled ray tracing when loading save data from a previous version of the game, which could have a negative impact on performance.
In future patches, players will have the ability to adjust the difficulty of enemies in New Game Plus. More bug fixes are also promised, as well as performance improvements.
