England must play behind closed doors after riots for European Championship final | European Football Championship 2020

The European Football Association (UEFA) has imposed a severe penalty on the English Football Association due to the unrest that occurred around the European Football Championship final between England and Italy. Fans without tickets forcibly entered Wembley, causing hallucinatory images.

The first final of a major soccer tournament in over 50 years. And that’s again at its own Wembley Stadium. Lots of English football fans wanted to go far to be there against Italy.

Several fans managed to breach police control and the security barrier to enter the stadium without a ticket. 19 officers were wounded in the fighting in and around the stadium and 49 people were arrested.

At UEFA, they couldn’t laugh because the big crowd of their football team was so polluted. As a penalty, England must play their next match at home without an audience. If another incident occurs in the next two years, an additional match will be added behind closed doors. The FA also has to pay a fine of 100,000 euros.
