In “Who Am I”, fans of the singer get a glimpse into her life. For example, Mel C takes readers of her book back to the beginning: her childhood in North West England. In addition to this, her glory years with the Spice Girls were also discussed.
Mel C writes in her book, among other things, what it was like to be part of one of the biggest girl groups in music history. The singer also tells more about the most difficult periods in her life. For example, Mel C has not hidden the fact that she has often struggled to live in the spotlight in the past. In her autobiography, Melanie Chisholm also says that she has been bullied in the past. The former Spice Girl often had a hard time with her self-image.
“It took a while, but now I finally feel ready to tell my story,” Mel C said on Who Am I. “Over the past few years, I’ve had time to reflect on my great career, but also the obstacles I had to overcome.” In her own words, she thought it was a wonderful experience to look into her past. “I really look forward to sharing my experiences with you.”
Mel C’s autobiography is up for sale September 15th.
