The riders are in the United States to finish the World Cups in Waterloo, Foytville and Iowa this week. Sven Nice, the big man behind the Trek-Lois Lions team, has crossed the pool to help the likes of his son Thibaw and Lucinda Brand.
But not only that … since Trek is also a sponsor of the World Cup races in Waterloo, there is a big celebration to popularize the cross in the United States in the days leading up to that race.
This is how the so-called Legends Race turned out, where young and old alike dressed like everyone else in the course at Waterloo. The otherwise very serious Sven Nice went all out and started out as a horror clown.
Among the people dressed as cows, the clown in costume did the necessary tricks on the bicycle – somehow suddenly breathing fire. Later, he dedicated several Instagram posts to the event. Below you will find an amazing public video of the event.
