This ambitious project is an initiative of the Spanish private aviation company iJet. The company has ordered ten of these flying taxis from Crisalion, a company specializing in electric and air mobility. The taxis combine the advantages of an airplane, a helicopter and a drone.

The new means of transport should enter use in Spain in 2030. Designed as an advanced drone, the device has a range similar to that of a helicopter.

The flying taxi can carry up to five passengers per trip. The flights will take 10, 20 or 25 minutes and passengers will pay 150 or 200 euros, Barriga said. The development of these flying taxis will revolutionize the aviation sector worldwide.
