Free concert by the French band Indochine at the Grand-Place in Brussels is immediately full | Brussels

BrusselsFrench pop, rock and new wave band Indochine will take over the Grand Place in Brussels on Saturday 25 September for a free concert. Thirty minutes after the announcement, all places were already booked. Indochine – still one of the most successful French bands – celebrates its 40th anniversary in Brussels.

Choosing Indochina for a birthday party in Brussels is not illogical, because singer Nicolas Serkis has lived in the capital for ten years. At the same time, the concert also coincides with the celebrations around the fiftieth anniversary of the Union of Walloon Brussels, the French community. This celebration will begin on Friday, September 24, because a whole series of concerts at the Grote Markt have already been planned.

What a wonderful program to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Walloon Federation of Brussels. After a difficult year, this event should ensure that artists and audiences find each other and celebrate the music”, says Pierre-Yves Gihulet (MR), Prime Minister of the French Community. Brussels Mayor Claus (PS) expects it to be an “unforgettable experience” for attendees.

Anyone wishing to attend the concert must be able to submit a Covid Safe Ticket. Those who do not have a ticket to the performance are asked not to go to the area around the Grote Markt. The concert is not broadcast anywhere.
