French politics in crisis

France’s recent elections have sparked a political crisis, with the government facing unprecedented instability and division. Support for President Emmanuel Macron has largely evaporated, leaving him isolated and discredited.

The left-wing parties are the largest faction in the National Assembly, with 184 seats. Among the left-wing factions, France Insoumise stands out for its anti-fascist rhetoric and anti-Semitic ideology. The party’s leaders claim that they must govern the country to avoid concessions to fascism, despite their questionable positions.

The situation is difficult

This has created a situation in which no political party has a majority, making it difficult for any governing coalition to form a government without compromising on key parts of its program. Moreover, “France Insoumise” now wields a great deal of power, meaning that any government that does not have its approval can no longer claim legitimacy.

Marine Le Pen’s National Rally party insists it won the most votes but was robbed of its victory by Macron’s manipulations. The party’s program focuses on fighting crime, stopping illegal immigration and stopping Islamization, the main concerns of the majority of the French people.

The strengthening of the “France Insoumise” movement is likely to lead to more crime, more illegal immigration, and accelerated Islamization in France. Moreover, economic data indicates that the country is currently in recession, with debt growing by 30 percent in seven years, and the budget deficit is expected to reach 5.1 percent by the end of 2024.

Tensions are rising

The situation has been further exacerbated by the growth of Muslim no-go zones, where police often do not intervene, and hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants remain in the country. Tensions are high and many French Jews feel threatened, including the former president of the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions, Dr. Richard Prasquier, who has advised Jews to leave France.

The final ceremony of the Olympic Games, which featured the beheading and blasphemous reenactment of Queen Marie Antoinette, exacerbated the sense of chaos and instability in France. In response, author Eric Zemmour argued that these individuals did not represent the French people and were hostile to their values.

Columnist Yvan Riovol warned in a book seven years ago that Macron’s rule would end in a nightmare, one that may now be unfolding. France’s future looks uncertain, with many questions surrounding the country’s political stability and future.
