It’s not just raining in the Jupiler Pro League with the sacking of the coach. Robin Veldman also has to make room at his club after just six months.
Robin Feldmann has become head coach of RSC Anderlecht following the sacking of Felice Mazo. In the end, he had to make way for Brian Rimmer, while Feldman aspired to become Anderlecht’s manager.
“Robben wants to stay as an assistant coach in the first team and has an ambition to become T1 at Anderlecht,” club president Wouter Vandenhout said at the time. “But he’s not ready for that yet. He has chosen to continue working as an assistant in the coming years, to stay close to the future and the academy and eventually become Anderlecht’s manager.”
However, Feldman did not stay. He became head coach of Scottish side Queen’s Park, but was sacked on Saturday following a 4-1 home defeat.
After fourteen days of matches, the team had only three wins. In 13th place out of 42, with eighth place out of ten teams, the club enters.
Queen’s Park can understand that Robin Veldman has left the club following this afternoon’s clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle. https://t.co/BKHoi75VkE
