The draft spatial policy plan for West Flanders was provisionally adopted by the provincial council on 20/06/2024.
This will be followed by a 90-day public inquiry, during which every citizen can provide answers to the content of the draft spatial policy plan for West Flanders and to the content of the draft environmental impact report. At least two information and consultation meetings will be organised during the public inquiry.
Given the local and regional elections scheduled for October 2024, the public inquiry will not begin until spring 2025, when the various new municipal councils are established. A new announcement will be made in December 2024 with more information about the public inquiry.
During the public inquiry, everyone will be able to check the documents in the building of the provincial government of Boivrebos and in the 64 town halls of the province of West Flanders.
